Hi all!
When you create a macro, where does the information get stored? Is there any way I can edit the macro file as it would be a massive timesaver if I could?

I believe they are stored in shortcuts.xml, either in %APPDATA%\Notepad++ or in your Notepad++ installation directory.
I've successfully edited this file, although I close Notepad++ and use a different editor to avoid Notepad++ overwriting any changes when you close it.
Instructions:
.. Regular user: Don't do it.
.. Advanced user: Don't do it ... yet.
