    hello.

I was thinking of an extention to the feature of cloning the view so if i edit a css or a html document, i can see the html in the second view - like a preview area inside notepad++ so it splits your work area. instead of running a separate firefox or ie - this feature is not new and exist in editors like topstyle, dreamweaver and others.
It would be very nice to see it in notepad++.

I tought about them, too. Before a long time ;). It's easy to implement, because HEX-Edit has a handler for views. The only one is the display of web sites:

I know that IE provides a container to show HTML sides, but:
Does exist in Firefox or Opera an interface to create a container? Maybe some user won't lunch IE for a preview...

      Best Regards
      Jens

        Yes, Jens.

        One vote for firefox.
I don't use IE for security reason.

you can always open window & emmbed it into another window - this neat feature was feature in Jedi Window Dock: http://www.anappaday.com/downloads/2006/10/day-22-jedi-window-dock.html

This is indeed a need feature, but you have some problems regarding the automatic update of Browser.

            Best Regards

An alternative is to directly embed Mozilla's Gecko rendering engine into your view. Details can be found here:
      http://www.mozilla.org/projects/embedding/

      LoonyChewy.
