Ok....may me such a function is not very useful for a programmer, but when you work with flat file, like database ASCII file...it's a twist...

I just ask you to think adding such a function (Columnar block marking), like the one available in Multi-Edit from American Cybernetics.

  How come this isn't listed in the UI anywhere.
  
  All I see is the column mode select shortcut in the docs.
