    It seems the file history list only contains _saved_ files, not _opened_ files.
    Why is this?

    Please change this feature so it will add _any_ file that is opened in NotePad++, remembering the number of entries specified in Preferences (History File Settings).

      Would you also prefix MRU files in the history with an index number which will be the hotkey in the menu, please? This goes for index numbers less than or equal to 10. The hotkey for the 10th file could be the 0.
