How about Document Selector? A TextPad like document selector would be very nice. It was Ok with the tab files, but document selector would be very helpful. how's it?

The Settings -> Preferences -> Global -> Enable document swither (Ctrl+Tab) was nice.... but it would be much more easier to put it on a window, just like the function list plugin? does anyone agree? cause intuitively it was much more comfortable, and the document order won't change everytime we switch the documents. I love the behavior of the Textpad's documents selector.

I agreed whith that Request. It's almost imposible to work whith 15-30 opened documents.
A good document selector can be found in kate (suse 10.1) editor. The document become painted more an more colorful whith every click or file modification that is performed.
I hope this be consider.
Sory about my English.

Do you want a selector for both possible views in one window? My suggestion:
- If main edit area is open, only one list box for selecting the files is visible.
- If main and second area is open, two areas are open.
- Both areas are separated with a resize border.
- List with file name and file path.
I am very busy at the moment with my new FunctionList version. I don't want to work on a second project when I do bigger changes on my current one. Therefore I don't wanna do this, whereas it isn't such a big challenge as Explorer or Function List.
If you can write C++, why don't you create a new project. This is indeed a small one. Take some of my available projects to realise this DocumentSwitcher. For questions, feel free to ask. I will support you.
Best Regards
Jens

I agree! The way this feature is implemented is very frustrating and irritating. We need functionality like panels in Opera.
