fresh install. just can't change the font for "string" in .cpp files.

  Do you mean a single-quoted string or a double-quoted string?
  
  Double-quoted strings follow the STRING settings.
  Single-quoted 'strings' follow the CHARACTER settings.
  
  That('s how it) works on my computer.

  Single-quoted string is fine here. I mean double-quoted string, which I can not change its font at all.
