I'm new to xhtml and am going through Ian Lloyd's book to learn. He states that we need to save in UTF-8 and we are learning in xhtmt. I only see UTF-8 in the format drop-down can I make this my default? Also when I save I can only save as html is this ok since I'm supposed to be learning in xhtml. Hope I make sense as all these things are new to me......thanks in advance for any advice or help......george

It doesn't mater is it htm, html or xhtml the definition that this file is xhtml anyway you write in header...
