First of all - great job! Notepad++ is an awesome app, and I've decided to switch from jEdit to it. Everything is cool so far, but I think jEdit has a better highlight support. When you click Ctrl and then highlight, it lets you select rectangular regions of texts. Like say you have lines of text with around 20 characters, but you want to insert something starting at column 35. Click control, highlight desired region (say cols 35 to 50), and start typing.
I think this would be a great feature to add!
Also, how can one customize keyboard shortcuts? I'd like to change the record/stop/play macro.
