I really like the session functionality - it was the main thing missing from Notepad++. A couple of improvements could be made, though (sorry if it's been suggested already!)
Has anyone seen Textpad's workspace file manager thing? I don't need all my files from a particular session open all the time, but so rather than opening them automatically, give me a file list. Click on a file in the list to go to that file.
Secondly, I should be able to double click a session file to load that session.
Thirdly (and this would be really cool) allow sessions to have tool commands attached to them. So, say I open a .cs file in Notepad++, I go to Session>CSC or something, and that causes csc.exe to be called.
Obviously, opening a session based around a NAnt build will give me different options.
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
The commands to load and save sessions are on the "File" menu. The "About..." menuitem is under the "?" menu. This is for Notepad++ 4.0.2. You might try re-installing it.
Version 4.0.2 remembers the last session and reloads it for you. --Joel

I don't see any session related commands in my File.. menu. I don't see any "About.." menu where I could check the version of the Notepad++ I installed (I took the latest version whatever it was).
Has it not installed properly??
