I agree... Notepad++ is a great program but the icon needs some long overdue attention.
The 48x48 icon is pixely and generaly not very nice.. XP users will long for 64x64, 72x72, 96x96, and 128x128 icons. ..And now with Vista's 256x256 size, a new icon set is a must!

on Vista, the desktop icons are huge. Unfortunately, the Notepad++ icon has a low resolution and becomes quite ugly. You can count the pixels...
A high-resolution icon would be nice :)

Yeah, that would be great. For my DockBar I also need a big icon!
I submitted a nice icon (with SVG source) but I guess whoever got it threw it away in favor of that pixelated piece of crap.
