I concur! It's beautiful! I also want to give thanks to wikipedia for helping me find notepad++ in the masses of wannabe notepad editors.
I use it in my office for c, vhdl, txt in linux format, some xml-like…
Compare, Search and replace with regex, code folding, zoom, shortcuts, double view, column selection, syntax coloring, highlighting text, conversions, tab to spaces…. are very useful.
Moreover, it is free !
