Previously had v3.x installed (not sure, maybe v3.1). Installed v4.0.2 without uninstalling v3.x. Now, whenever prog is opened, an error message appears. Window title is "C:\Program Files\Notepad++\plugins\NppInsertPlugin.dll".
Message is:
Missing "messageProc" function
This plugin is not compatible with current version of Notepad++.
Remove this plugin from the plugins directory if you don't want to see this message on the next launch time.
I can click the OK button which allows prog to open, and it functions appropriately. However, if I remove NppInsertPlugin.dll from the Notepad++\plugins directory, the prog opens without the error message. Is this file necessary, or has it been done away with since the version I was using?
System: AthlonXP 2700+, 1GB PC700 RAM, Win2k Pro sp4
