Are there any error messages? Try grabbing the latest beta, and see how it works..MSN was crashing gaim before, but not it's working fine with the latest beta build.

I just re-installed gaim. Now it won't start. Maybe I need to manually uninstall it. BTW, I am using Windows XP Pro.
What is the right version of gaim and GTK that will work with XP?
This works:
GTK+ 2.10.8
Glib 2.12.9
Gaim 2.0.0beta6
Now I only need to figure out what do these different versions mean :)
