I like to view my non-code documents using a variable width font like Arial, but obviously a fixed-width is better for code. I haven't found a good way to do this. Could there be a "Normal Text" option in the style configurator that lets you override the style for plain text files?

I second that notion. Is there a good solution for this? If I set the global style setting as such, I'd have to set up all the other languages individually. Any suggestions?

Update… after some further looking (novel idea, I know!) I used the "User-defined language" dialog to set up a custom style. Under the 'View' menu, go to 'User Define dialog…".
