I can't get the HEX-Editor plug-in to work (np++ v3.8, Hex-Editor plug-in v0.3). No matter how I display a file in the editor, the address, column, and dump fields always contain the same weird string.
Since I can't post a screenshot, this is what the string looks like "g[]w,oowyyyyy". The actual string contains almost all upper ASCII chars.

I have this same problem (currently I am using HexEditor v0.6 and Notepad++ v4.0.2). The issue continues after a fresh install.
