There is a VERY annoying bug in the Explorer plugin. Every time I open Notepad++ (with the Explorer sidebar active) I get the following error dialog window:
"There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive \Device\Harddisk3\DR31"
Options are to click: Cancel/Try Again/Continue
Regardless of whether I click Cancel or Continue (effect is the same) I get ANOTHER error dialog with the same button opions:
There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive \Device\Harddisk4\DR32
This cycle repeats itself FIVE TIMES. I assume it's because I have a USB multi-memory card reader that maps 5 drive letters on my system. When the Explorer plugin opens, it insists on "reading" these drive letters, finds no data (no memory cards inserted), and starts the annoying error dialog window cycle.

Current workaround is to disable viewing the notepad++ explorer window by default.
I had the same problem as you. Jens has a new version of the Explorer plugin that he had me try a few days ago. Email him to send you a copy of the plugin.

I have the same problem. In my case the reason is that the computer has a 4-in-1 USB Flash Card reader which Windows translates into 4 not-connected devices (until you insert a flash card of course). So I got four errors at the beginning, one for each device.

I think I fixed it. It should work with 1.01 release of Explorer plugin. Look here to get this version. If the probelm still exist, contact me via mail asap. I am developing on next version of explorer and I/you won't have this issue again.
Best Regards
Jens
