thanks for the nice editor. But if you deinstall the version 4, the nppcm.dll remains in memory. You can delete it only if you start Win again. You should kill the process after closing the program. Also I miss file-extensions in explorer.

That's normal for explorer shell extensions, not much to do about it afaik.
If you just need "Open with Notepad++" for all files, you don't need the shell extension, but can do with a simple registry entry instead (and you can just grab the .zip release of Notepad++ and avoid the shell extension, then).
