the new Version Notepad++ v4.0 crashes during the Start under WinXP64, all versions before were working without problems.
With disable the Explorer-Plugin during the Installation Notepad++ starts without Problems.

I think it's necessay to compile in x64 mode in order to remedy this problem.
Has anyone the such experience? A link will help.

Rename the "Plugins" folder in "Plugins.bak" under your notepad++ installed directory may remedy the crash.
