Thanks for thee great tool, I'm using it extensively! But there is one issue I'd like to see resolved: When using multiple monitors (e.g. 2 in my case: the screen of my laptop and an additional attached LCD panel in my office) I can move notepad++ to the secondary screen and work with it there. BUT: Notepad++ remembers the position and will start next time at exactly the same location on the desktop, even if the second monitor is not attached (then of course the windows is 'gone' or out of reach). As soon as this happens one can only use notepad++ maximized.

I'm using np++ on WinXP SP2 with the same monitor configuration as you, and I haven't noticed any problem. I position np++ on the external monitor at work, then I go home and open the notebook and use np++ on the internal lcd with no problem. In general, I find that np++ behaves no differently then other applications with respect to multiple monitors.
For me, the key to getting multiple monitors working well was getting updates to the software for my video chipset (my computer is a Dell Inspiron 6000 that uses an Intel chipset with integrated graphics).
I will pay closer attention to the behavior of NP++ in the next few days and report back if I see anything that contradicts what I have written above.

I have a similar, or at least related issue. I recently moved my work LCD from the left side of my laptop to the right, and it still remembered to open NPP on the left side, out of the scope of my desktop. I only got around to reverting to old monitor positions to grab it and move it to where it should go after reading this post. It seems that NPP is just a little to assertive in remembering its old window position?

ALT + Spacebar, then Press "M" then use the cursor keys to move the application around. ;)
I run into this issue alot when I connect to my work machine from home. I have two monitors at work and a single configuration at home hehe.
