Are you sure that we mean the same thing?
For "block mode" I mean: while pressing the ALT key, select an area of text.
When I press Ctrl-U the text changes its formatting.
If I select a normal block of text, then it works.
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Ctrl-U and Ctrl-Shift-U do not work in block mode.
On the other hand, if I do
TextFx->TextFx Characters->UPPER CASE
then it works...
I tested this : In Column Select mode, (Rc2, Win2K) and it fails to work, and also does something strange to the text, shuffles it about.
It's probably similar to search and replace: InSelection bug,
which also fails across the Column-select boundaries.
Lots of fish-hooks in Column Select modes...
For me it works. Be sure that the editor area is selected and be sure that you didn't remove the shortcut.
