Currently, we can search in current file or all opened files. Please add one more button to seach in a specified folder and check box with all subfolders. UltraEdit has this feature, but it is not free :-(.

It's 'find in files'. It's not very well developed yet, so it doesn't have stuff like check boxes for subfolders or for binary files, but it is there and it does basically work.

NPP is an outstanding editor and free.

This would still be a useful feature, no matter how old the request. Search in sub-folders would be sweet and very helpful.
I like a lot about this editor and its look and feel.
Yet, I have to join the ones who are missing a good filesystem search...
