    Hello,

First of all, I want to thank Don, Jen and others, who participate in N++ development for this wonderful product!

Dockable plugins (explorer in the left, function list in the right + position and size save ) + last dir save + syntax highlight = n+++ forever!

But I have several simple questions! MB you can help me...

    1) how to swap/delete/reassign   Ctrl + L    and    Ctrl + Shift+ L    hot_keys?
    2) tell me please, the name of the plugin, which checks for a new n++ version! (does it do it automaticaly on n++ startup?)
    3) what does "reload from disk" mean in n++ v. 4? (I think, that if the file was changed - n++ will notice about it and ask to refresh the content or leave without changes, but what for we need "reload from disk"? )

    Best wishes,
      Eugene

      Hello Eugene,

      >> Dockable plugins (explorer in the left, function list in the right + position and size save )

Thanks a lot, this was hard work.

      Regarding:
      1) I didn't know exactly what you mean. There is a shortcut mapper available. Try to find here: "Preferences->Shortcut Mapper...". Double click on an item or use right mouse button to reassign a shortcut. To remove a macro use it also.

      2) Currently there is no plugin available.

      3) Don, I think this is you part to answere this question!

      Best Regards
      Jens

Reload from disk is also called Revert in some other editors.

Having a dedicated 'reload' is a good idea.

The purpose is to allow you to discard a change, so works the same as close/re-open.
It also means you can skip the load prompt, and then get the disk-changed file later
(after perhaps looking again at the bug area, and reminding yourself how it should
change. With the recently added cursor-remember, that is now nice.easy to do )

In NP++ close/reopen is clunky, as it jumps to the directory of the active
file (and so forgets the directory you may have last loaded from...)
      - but you can use the last file in the pick-list, after you close.

      Hello Jens,

      "Regarding:

Probably, you mean "Settings -> Shortcut Mapper..." and it was the first thing I tried...
but there is no a such "shortcut" there - it is the main problem, so, that why I asked here!

I scrolled through this list about 5 times, finding "ctrl+L" or "ctrl+shift+L", but no results... I have n++ 4.0 and there is a list of 85 items!

2 Jens, will you so kind and tell me the number of "ctrl+L" shortcut? (I simply can't find it)

2 Don, if it is not late, and in "sh. mappper" no "ctrl+L" and "ctrl+shift+L" - can you include them in n++ 4.0 final release?

And 1 more improvement (possibly, for 4.1): to make the possibility to set/choose/change Bookmark background color!

      Best Regards
        Eugene
