This problem prohibits me from using Notepad++ 100% for all my needs. I often need to use for View HTML Source from Outlook (or sometimes from Internet Explorer) and this always leads to crash. I have found workaround - recompile Notepad++ without compiler optimizations in VS 2003. But probably there is better solution. I also provided way to reproduce a problem without using Outlook.
Anyway, big thanks developers for this great tool!

All it takes to fix this frequent crash is to disable compiler optimizations.
I wish I could find out what could be done to avoid MSVC compiler bugs so optimizations could be left on, because in order to debug it optimization must be off, and then N++ does not crash under debugger.

There might be a manual solution to this by editing the registry, but I just uninstalled and reinstalled Notepad++ leaving the last checkbox (default HTML editor) clear.
