You know, I am happy to see the progression of Notepad++. It is really
starting to come along and for css/html developers, it is must have. I
looked for a long time for a editor that can have split multi editing
with tabs and found here. Then I requested close buttons on the tabs and
docked plug ins, and boom there it is! Here is my request to make a already
fantastic editor even better:
1. Toggable opening and closing of docks.- Preferably on the edge of the dock.
Right now I have to drag the dock to the left and right to open and close it. (and the keyboard
shortcuts are too involved - 4 keys. ack!)
2. Html/Xhtml guide tag highlighting. The bracket highlighting has been a great feature for me
in php/javascript development. It does wonders for complicated nested documents. Why not have
this same functionality for html tags? For example, when I click a <div> tag, the closing </div>
tag highlights...
This would make my wonderful editor almost perfect.
In the meantime, thanks for all of your work Don and Jenz!
