Unfortunatly, I have not been able to get information from NOKIA specifying which phones are actually supported by the interface.
My guess is, that E60, E62, E70 etc are NOT supported ))-:
If I get some info regarding the E series there MAY be an update forthcoming,
otherwise I am sorry to say, that probably NokSync will not support Your phones ))-:

Can you advise which interface are you referring to? A couple of us N70 owners are having problems syncing as well. Noksync does not recognise that that phone is connected but it is able to invoke the SMS messaging test.
I am hoping that will mean it is supported and it is not the same problem with the E6x phones. Fingers crossed!!

The interface I am referring to is the "Nokia PC Connectivity SDK 3.0", and as you can see the documentation for that is quite old, so the statement of supported phones is out of data.
Note that opening the SMS window is NOT a test as to whether NokSync itself works. The window is the native PC Suite window.
It seems that it is not enough just to have PC suite opened and saying connected, you really have to do something active before the PC Connectivity SDK interface used by NokSync is really available. After some poking around, I found that launching the SMS window did the trick.

This is not good news for me and other N & E series users. I was so looking forward to using Noksync to simplify my life! This is a disappointment. I hope Henrik can fix this in the not too distant future. I would be truly grateful.
In any case, here's wishing everyone a very happy New Year and may 2007 brings you happiness in whatever you do.

It doesn't work with the E71 either - which is no doubt because the E series runs Symbian. And I see from discussions on the Nokia forum that they are not interested in working with open source developers who don't want to / can't purchase a licence.
Nokia ought to either add support for Thunderbird+Lightning (calendar) to Nokia PC Suit, or let others do it. But how do we persuade Nokia of that??

Even though my laptop is connected via PC Suite to my Nokia E62, NokSync fails to recognize the phone. Is there an update forthcoming?
The same problem with E60 and E70....we are waiting an update too ! Ketty

First of all, have a look at the documentation here: http://www.kaarposoft.dk/noksync/developing.html
In particular the section "nokia_pcsuite2" at http://www.kaarposoft.dk/noksync/developing.html#nokia_pcsuite2
The interface I am referring to is the "Nokia PC Connectivity SDK 3.0", and as you can see the documentation for that is quite old, so the statement of supported phones is out of data.
I have posted questions on NOKIA forums:
