When you enter a martix trough a dialog windows, i.e. pressing the Albegra>Insert Matrix, the tab button is not properly working, in fact the focus is not moved to the next item in the mask. I belive this to be a software bug, because in the command line the tab button works well with its lovely reverse-history search function. Moreover this bug is in all the dialog windows i tried, plot2d, susbstitution and so on.
It this bug happening only on my machine (SUSE 10.0)?
thanks to all

I confirm this also happens in wxMaxima 0.6.5 in Ubuntu 6.10. I'm going to check if someone has reported this bug for other WX programs (I've just tried wxvlc in my machine and TAB works properly).

I belive this was fixed in 0.7.0. The tab character works as expected for me on Ubuntu. If this happens also in 0.7.0 what is the version of wxGTK?

Ubuntu 6.10 distributes wxMaxima 0.6.5. I've just downloaded and compiled wxMaxima 0.7.0a and the TAB key still doesn't change focus between text fields. The version of wxGTK is 2.6-0:
