Wow, this is great! I just started learning R yesterday, and rkward has been a great help. I'm new to linux also, (using ubuntu dapper), and I had some trouble installig. Then I found that rkward is in the edgy repos (i.e., the repositories for the next version of ubuntu). So I just temporarily enabled the edgy repos, installed rkward with apt-get, and presto! Works like a charm. Anyway, I want to express my thanks for this program, it has been very useful. I will keep notes as I go along, maybe I can eventually contribute somethng to the documentation effort.

Welcome and thanks for the charming words.

It's nice to see that RKWard is also available for Ubuntu, it seem to become popular ;) .
Anyway here is what you can do:
      * make some good comments at several place because RKWard needs more friends ;)
      * give some feedback what is needed from your view as user (functions, ..., what is confusing, ...). But according to your statement is RKWard exactly what you need and therefore no improvements are needed. :) just kidding
      * join the development. Thomas and the other have put a lot afford into an excellent documentation, so it's "relative" easy to start writing plug-ins or extending RKWard for your own purposes (e.g. at university, work, research ...)

      CU,
      Stefan

As far as I understood, the OP was referring to user documentation. So just to point out, that of course working on documentation would be very much appreciated as well.

      Regards
      Thomas
