Hello,
I have been monitoring the progress of rkward closely and it seems that there is little discussion going on. Could it be that nobody is interested in this project?? I think it is an urgently needed application and I am looking forward to using it - in a later version - for my thesis.

in fact, much less has happened during the past two months, than in the time before that. There are two reasons for that. The first one is, that only a few people are actively working on this projects, and sometimes those just don't have much time for rkward. The other reason is, that I'm currently working on some rather complex changes under the hood, that are a lot of work to implement. Taken together, this is what's been going on the past two months: Slow progress on difficult code.
Note that at the same time, Yves has completed yet some more enhancements for the website, so it's not like nothing visible has changed at all. Also note that sometimes the developers have some discussions in private mail, not visible on the mailing list.
So, rest assured, rkward is not going to be abandoned, it's just moving slow at the moment. Also note, there always some things you can help us with, even if you're not a coder. Have a glance at this page for staters, if you would like to see rkward make progress more quickly: http://rkward.sourceforge.net/devel.php?content=open_tasks
Regards
Thomas
