Now my questions:
Is that the way to go (131/136)?
Is there any advance in CVS HEAD regarding this problem?
Is there a release plan for v1.1?
Should I just wait or could I collaborate with someone to get that patch updated/accepted?
Thanks, Diego

Apologies for bouncing this back to the top but I noticed that partial lists are mentioned in the documentation for 1.1. Fantastic!!. Unfortunately I could not much find info on this and noticed it says that 1.1 is not considered stable for production use.
Is the current cvs 1.1 that far from production quality? has any one got a link to some more info on the partial list implemenation coded into 1.1 ?
cheers
Jonathan

I'm interested in a solution for using large result sets with displaytag (or actually, not so large but costly to prepare). I've found at least these items from jira:
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/DISPL-14
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/DISPL-19
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/DISPL-131
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/DISPL-134
The last 2 are marked as fix coming in version 1.1.

Sorry for bouncing this back, but can anybody in the team give me an idea of the plans for the issue in question?
Thanks, Diego
We are also very interested in this features. We have several hacks in place to handle larger datasets, but they aren't very nice to work with.
So, any word on 1.1?
Thanks!

I think the problem is that Fabrizio is the Lead Developer on this project and he seems to be on vacation. Let's hope he gets back soon.
