In previous versions, there was an option to remove the idle time from the contact window. I can't seem to locate where that option is in the new version. If it has been removed, please put it back; if it is still available, please point me to where I can change it.

the option to remove the idle time has a few requests. I've not seen anything mentioned as a justification except the scroll bars it no longer creates though. oh and "it used to be an option."
the option for idle time tracking has far more requests to add it back. many of them are associated with either privacy or computer use patterns. I _suspect_ we'll end up adding it back.

The reason I would like the option to hide the idle times in the buddy list is because they cover up the buddy names. I, and I suspect many other users, keep their buddy list quite small, especially when I have it docked. Screen real-estate is important to us!
Having the option to turn off the idle time reporting would allow us to keep our buddy lists small, the way we have grown to like them.
I do realize that you are trying to remove features that are rarely used as to simplify the interface. However even if this was an option burried somewhere in the plug-ins this would be great.
Overall I love the beta, but I very much miss this one feature.

I would also like to have an option to not display buddy's icons when I put my mouse over them...
In addition, can we have the option to control if idle time is measured via Windows usage or Gaim usage?
