Is there a reason that patches attached in 'patches' section sit unused?
I'm personally interested in patch 1064179, saving all info about thread, as I couldn't find any other way to access that information. At some point it was in debian, but apparently got dropped.
I use it to display information about new messages in a Gmail Notifier style application wmgmail.

Sorry for the delay. I've applied your patch as written, basically (merged by hand - the file had changed sufficiently to make 'patch' not play nice), and it should appear in CVS in a matter of hours.
Please let me know if this doesn't work for you and we'll figure something out.

This is the perfect place to do it. If you don't get any response for a while though, do feel free to post or email libgmail-developer@lists.sf.net
I modified the tracker settings so that more people get emailed when patches are submitted (the problem was that I wasn't getting mail about it before)
So, keep doing what you're doing :-)
Thanks for all your help!

Taken from the devel mailinglist:
I will take a second look and apply these patches on Monday, unless
someone wants to first (on vacation, so I don't have access to my linux
box)

Great, thanks!
Is there some other, preferred, way to submit patches?
