PlanoMetrix improves scan accuracy by correcting distortions caused by sensor motion mechanics and paper transport irregularities in flatbed and document feeder scanners. This project was used to develop an OS-independent driver for the CanoScan FB630U flatbed scanner in the form of a backend for the SANE package. Since integration with the SANE project in 2002, there has been no activity here.
