This is na attempt to identify objects in real time video processing. Uses a Sample Grabber filter to get frames from webcam feed. I mannaged to group pixels with similar color and that have topologic continuity. In another processing layer the objective is to relate these groups by their apparent velocity and constant borders, so that an object with different colors or patterns could be identified as the same object.

A 2D line can be rasterized into a 8-connected sequence of pixels which exhibit repeating patterns of connected pixels. Likewise, a 3D plane can be rasterized into connected cubes. A 'rectangular' cut of m x n cubes is a (m,n)-cube. Given m and n, the goal of this project is to generate all the (m,n)-cubes for all the (integer) discrete planes, based on the intersection vertices on a Farey diagram. -

This free, standalone, exe flashes a borderless, configurable, area that will stay topmost while it's running. Drag it into place and then the only other configuration is an X,Y size input that is accessed by right clicking on the active area. You can even size it down to a single pixel (if you have the patience to interact with it). While running it flashes through RGB to hopefully loosen those dastardly stuck pixels.
