JLibJPEG is a significantly faster JPEG loader. This library provides a class and source files to load JPEG using the standard libjpeg library. It can be as much as ten times faster than ImageIO and returns a standard BufferedImage. It is ideal for applications which have to process large photos from digital cameras. -
