Window Maker Live is an installable Linux Live ISO based on the current Bookworm branch of Debian. The system uses the Window Maker window manager as the default graphical user interface. Window Maker Live's components have been carefully preconfigured and the desktop environment has a consistent visual appearance. Window Maker Live integrates selected components from other desktop environments such as XFCE4, MATE, LXQT, with a particular focus on GNUstep. The main idea behind this project is to integrate the Window Maker window manager as default user interface on top of a standard Debian/Bookworm base system. It also serves as an alternate installation medium for Debian/Bookworm. The second main idea not directly visible on the surface level is the inclusion of many useful command line utilities and tools for system administration. This effectively turns wmlive into a UNIX administrator's workbench for rescue and repair operations.

River is a dynamic tiling Wayland compositor with a flexible runtime configuration. River can either be run nested in an X11/Wayland session or directly from a tty using KMS/DRM. Simply run the river command. Usually this executable is a shell script invoking riverctl(1) to create mappings, start programs such as a layout generator or status bar, and perform other configuration.

This is my dotfiles that I made, it's a dotfiles design to be understandable and hackable by anyone and themed with SweetPastel. Instead of making multiple Window Manager Configs with different style I opt in on just one style but it should be compatible to other Window Manage so if you switch to another Window Manager it should be the same style, plus it's less work. All the configs are stored in a folder so it won't conflict at your pre existing configs (Except of the window managers they will conflict unless you backup your old files)

LXP is a desktop enviroment identical to Windows XP. LXP is a collection of different pieces of GNU software (icewm, xfe, idesk, etc) modified in order to look and feel identical to Windows XP. LXP has its own icewm themes and utility pack.

My customized linux live spin using 'Awesome' the Window Manager (WM) If you are not familiar with the AwesomeWM you might have troubles using this LiveOS, unless you are experienced with Linux in general. If you are looking for a Windows (Microsoft TM) or iOS (Apple TM) alternative, this Linux spin is NOT for you! Bundle of easy-to-configure useful Rofi Applets Developed by Umutcan Sevdi. This project requires Rofi. It's a very powerful pop-up/switcher that allows anyone to create powerful menus. You can download it from the package manager of your choice. All applets read color values from applets/global.rasi. Editing color hexcodes will update all existing applets. Create a directory at ROFI_APPLETS_PATH. Then open two files. config.rasi and launch.sh. Instead of defining your own color values, import all of them from global.rasi for consistency. Develop rest like any other rofi applet. Write your launch script to the launch.sh. Applet CLI will automatically recognize your applet on the next run.
