...Thanks to this design (as well as Rust and C), baru is lightweight and efficient. It can run at a high refresh rate with a minimal processor footprint. The audio module communicates with the PipeWire/PulseAudio server through client API to retrieve its data. Wireless and wired modules use the netlink interface with the help of libnl to talk directly to the kernel and retrieve their data. Baru is modular. This means that only the modules you want to see are instantiated and executed. -

SyncWall is quite a basic wallpaper changer with a special feature, it is the ability to synchronize wallpaper change between several workstations with a basic (and unsecured) client/server protocol. Each workstation must share the same pool of files, there is no FTP or Internet download. Because SyncWall is written with Qt, SyncWall runs on Windows and Linux (MacOSX isn't tested yet). -

Twin is a text-mode window environment. It supports mouse and multiple windows, has a built-in terminal emulator and window manager, and can serve as display for client applications. Its retro look-and-feel comes with very modern features: it is best described as a VNC-like server, that can use a variety of displays - all with mouse support: from a plain text terminal, to a Linux console, to a full kde, gnome or X11 desktop.
