Besides Python there are also bindings for node.js, Tcl (incomplete) and PHP (not useful). As application examples you will find a Python Websocket server with which you may build a web application interacting with Indi servers, and a simple PyQt application similar to the Kstars Indi Control Panel (was built as an exercise).
