This is the Socket.IO Client Library for Java, which is simply ported from the JavaScript client. The latest artifact is available on Maven Central. There are several ways to handle events that are transmitted between the server and the client. Add the listener function to the end of the listeners array for the event named eventName. This repository contains a barebones WebSocket server and client implementation written in 100% Java.
