    _s

    Inactive project

Underscores is a no-frills WordPress starter theme engineered to give developers a clean, standards-based foundation for building custom themes. It provides semantic templates, accessibility-minded markup, and a minimal stylesheet that sets sensible defaults without imposing a visual identity. The codebase includes template tags, custom header and menu scaffolding, widget areas, and translation-ready strings to speed up common theme tasks. Its structure is intentionally opinionated about where code lives and how templates compose, which makes large customizations predictable and maintainable. Developers can opt into Sass and build helpers, but the theme is usable as a lightweight baseline even without a complex toolchain. Because it avoids design flourishes, Underscores encourages teams to layer their branding and components on top of a solid, well-documented skeleton that tracks WordPress best practices.

    academic Jekyll

    academic Jekyll

Jekyll theme with a focus on simplicity, typography and flexibility

Academic is a Jekyll theme with a focus on simplicity, typography and flexibility. I originally designed it for my personal blog during my PhD thesis. Both in design and configuration, Academic aims to let the writer and its readers focus on the content. Almost all of the theme configuration happens in the _config.yml file. The goal of Academic is to let the author write very long and detailed posts while being kind to its readers' eyes. Academic can be used to generate different layouts while keeping the same look and feel. All features require you to opt in, which means that you can either use a very lean _config.yml or a very detailed one if you want to use more features.

    easy-jekyll

Emacs major mode for managing jekyll

Emacs major mode for managing Jekyll blogs. You can manage blogs on easy-jekyll-mode. If you manage multiple blogs, you can switch blogs. You can post a new article. Enter an article file name in the minibuffer. A markdown file is automatically generated. You can write a blog with markdown-mode. If you enter '.textile' file name in the minibuffer, textile file is automatically generated and you can write a blog with textiles. The browser opens automatically and you can preview the blog on your laptop or desktop. Even if you run the easy-Jekyll-preview command many times, only one Jekyll process will run so do not mind it. Since the process of Jekyll running on the laptop or desktop disappears in 300 seconds, you do not have to worry about killing the Jekyll process.

    ehandwriting

    ehandwriting

Groundbreaking JS plug&play writes real handwriting on your web page.

New and totally free handwriting software can write what you want, where you want, when you want on your web page in real time. The software is Vanilla JS only - no frameworks, CSS, images, svg, or video used or required. It's totally pure JS. It's for commercial, social media, and educational use. Creative web developers and designers have a new simple to use tool. The text on a web page usually has a few key words - the creative web developer will consider having one or more of them written dynamically in real time. Users are inevitably drawn to the hand that's writing. One line of code loads the plugin then any number of calls to it causes writing to happen when required. Typically the writing will occur in an element (a div, say) or a chosen area of the window. The software auto deals with font size and spacing. DOWNLOAD ehandwriting.zip (284kb) includes: - Executable software "ehw 1.1 min.js" (132kb) - All source files + documentation, - User guides - MIT Licence
