    This package collects Fine Offset and Oregon Scientific weather data.

    WxTools (Weather Data Tool Suite) is a collection of software for collecting and displaying weather data from various weather stations. The software works with the Fine Offset WH290 and similar models (including clones such as the Pro-Signal PSG04173). It also works with the Oregon Scientific WMR180 weather station (and probably similar models such as the WMR88 and WMR100) as well as the older WMR928. Sample weather data is provided.

    ...That project is still under development but the software that broadcasts the data is 'finished' and should be useful for things other than weather stations. This software is a set of tools to stream data directly from instrumentation via databases, to webpages. This starts with a driver, taking serial ascii data to an SQLite database. Subsequently client applications can take this data to display on webpages, export to text file, and almost anything else. The driver has been written using the mingw port of the gcc compiler, currently the system runs on Windows XP, however the design is deliberately cross platform, and linux based serial port interfaces will be added. ...
