wttr.in is a console-oriented weather forecast service that supports various information representation methods like terminal-oriented ANSI-sequences for console HTTP clients (curl, httpie, or wget), HTML for web browsers, or PNG for graphical viewers. Originally started as a small project, a wrapper for wego, intended to demonstrate the power of the console-oriented services, wttr.in became a popular weather reporting service, handling tens of millions of queries daily.

WxTools (Weather Data Tool Suite) is a collection of software for collecting and displaying weather data from various weather stations. The software works with the Fine Offset WH290 and similar models (including clones such as the Pro-Signal PSG04173). It also works with the Oregon Scientific WMR180 weather station (and probably similar models such as the WMR88 and WMR100) as well as the older WMR928. Sample weather data is provided.

It takes a lot of work to pull up your local forecast when your on your Linux PC, you have to open your browser, and find a local weather station website. I believe this is a faster method, and its just for Linux users. Just by using your Linux terminal, with my application, you can pull up your local weather forecast just by typing in your city/state.
