Sample project for a Live Wallpaper, heavily inspired by the Matrix animation (Matrix movie)
I tried to keep a minimum set of files and as few dependencies as possible. It will take some time / downloading on first start.
The animation / drawing code is "isolated" in the class
app\src\main\java\net\ctstudio\matritsa\DrawLWP.java
By starting with this class and leaving all else as is, you should have a good starting point.
The project does not handle different display densities or sizes, meaning it may look weird on very high/low densities or tablets, ...
Also does not have code for handling configuration.

SyncWall is quite a basic wallpaper changer with a special feature, it is the ability
to synchronize wallpaper change between several workstations with a basic (and unsecured)
client/server protocol. Each workstation must share the same pool of files, there is no
FTP or Internet download.
Because SyncWall is written with Qt, SyncWall runs on Windows and Linux (MacOSX isn't tested yet).
Create random JPG wallpaper from a user updatable list of webcams
...For true elegance can be launched using cron or Evolution's calendar or other timed launcher however often you like (I use Evolution's calendar and it works fine),
webcamgrab is not interactive - once configured you can leave it alone.
Assumed path names are /usr/bin for lynx and ~/Public for webcamgrab's files. If you would change these paths just modify the Python code in webcamgrab.py with the text editor of your choice.
More detail in the included documentation.
A small .NET-based GUI application that generates HTML files to provide image files in various resolutions (e.g. wallpapers). For hobbyist webmasters who know how to copy files to a server, but not how to set up and configure server-side apps.
WebWallpaper periodically downloads the newest/latest image from a Webcam or any specified Url on the Internet, stores it to a file on the hard disk and sets it as current wallpaper.
