    Midi learning notes

    Learning note with your midiin keyboard device

    Program written in Vb6 to help learning notes with a midi keyboard device or with a virtual "on screen" piano. You can play your midi keyboard and see the relative name in notation C D E.. or notation DO RE MI.... and the position on pentagram and on a mandolin's fretboard. There is also a TEST section that generate a random note in one of the four notations described above and you have to guess it in the less time possible.

    KLAVAR! is porting to MS Windows a graphic music sequencer/notation program based on the easy-to-read KLAVAR music notation, without clefs, sharps, flats or accidentals. It was originally written in GFA Basic for the Atari ST. Earlier releases were also targeting Apple Mac OS X and GNU/Linux operating system but the effort had to abandoned due to the uncertain future of the development tools used.
