Using an Internet service instead of a server-based infrastructure means that no expertise is required to setup a telemedicine central, furthermore allowing your work group the freedom to work from any place. Upgrading your working experience doesn't mean you have to invest a lot of financial resources: the CardioBox platform is free and you only pay per use. End-users, namely the technicians responsible for the acquisition of ECG, are provided with a simple application to upload the procedures into the email centre. -

Catalogue of Life Converter
MS Access database converts the Catalogue of Life into a gedcom format
The primary driver of speciation may result from hybridization instead of the accumulation of mutations. The accumulation of mutations may instead be responsible for a "maturation" which may have real physical meaning rather than being an amorphous concept. Scientists such as Donald Williamson and Lynn Margulis have suggested similar ideas but perhaps not going as far as this project assumes. This software converted the Catalogue of Life, catalogueoflife.org, into a gedcom format. It no longer works due to the Catalogue's database format change. This present project extends the gedcom format for use in systematics or species categorization. All named taxonomic levels are assumed to have originally been individual species and the software/database outputs all species as female until hybridization events can be added manually. This tool is used to develop the data at http://genealogyoflife.com. It converted the data from 1.2 million species to over 2 million gedcom females. -

This project comprises documentation and VBA programming code in respect of a combinations algorithm that I have written. The algorithm is in the Excel file named Combinations.xlsm and the documentation that explains how to use interface and execution of the algorithm is in the pdf file called Combinations.pdf You will need to enable macros in Excel in order to run the algorithm. -

A Fortran code for design and analysis of ring-stiffened shells
DAPS4e is an updated version of a Fortran code by John Renzi for design and analysis of monocoque and ring-stiffened circular cylindrical shells [DOI: 10.13140/RG.2.2.18176.92165]. The following failure modes are considered: • Shell stresses and displacements at mid-bay and ring-frames. • Ring-frame stress. • Axisymmetric collapse (AC). • Elastic and Inelastic Interbay Buckling. (EIB and IIB). • Elastic and Inelastic Monocoque Instability (EMI and IMI). • Elastic and Inelastic General Instability (EGI and IGI). • Ring-Frame Elastic Instability analysis (EFI). Solutions compare favorably with DTMB experimental results. DAPS4e’s IO is managed through a Visual Basic user form. Pre/post processing is done using linked macro-enabled Excel workbooks. Database Pro has been designed to manage addresses and mailings. For small charities, database fields are provided so that the details of the most recent donation of a supporter can be recorded. However, the columns (fields) can easily modified, added or deleted so that the database can be customised according to your needs. Database Pro is available in file formats for both Excel and OpenOffice. The Excel version is a VBA project and the OpenOffice version uses OOo Basic. Please note that the database does not currently work with LibreOffice due to a couple of bugs in the LibreOffice program. -
