Google Cardboard XR Plugin for Unity

Google Cardboard XR Plugin for Unity

Google Cardboard XR plugin for Unity

...With these capabilities, you can build entirely new VR experiences, or enhance existing apps with VR capabilities. You can use the Cardboard SDK to turn a smartphone into a VR platform. A smartphone can display 3D scenes with stereoscopic rendering, track and react to head movements, and interact with apps by detecting when the user presses the viewer button. The Unity XR Plugin Management API lets you turn VR mode on or off for the Google Cardboard XR Plugin for Unity. The VrMode scene in HelloCardboard sample shows basic usage of the aforementioned API.

    Radegast

    Radegast

Lightweight client for connecting to Second Life and OpenSim

...Keep in mind, this is the first version and much has changed under the hood. It has been brought up to date and only supports Windows x64 currently and is built against the .NET 5 platform. Like Radegast, it utilizes the LibreMetaverse library and now shares much of the same code as Radegast does, which should make maintaining both viewers more manageable.

    Calcflow

    Calcflow

A virtual reality tool for mathematical modeling

...Today, the most common tool for complex maths visualization in the classroom is the TI-84+. Scientists, researchers, and other professionals who implement calculus in their work may rely on more complex toolkits like MATLAB. Though these tools offer broader functionality, they are similarly if not more unintuitive than their handheld counterparts. Calcflow shatters this interfacial bottleneck by enabling users to interact directly with complex equations in physical space. Users can manipulate inputs and parameters and observe changes to 3D visualizations in realtime.

    OutcropVR

    OutcropVR

See geologic outcrops in virtual reality

...OutcropVR supports creation of real-world landscape data from coordinates or georeferenced models, as well as localization from UTM values. The other aspect is the "game" mode tools. You can fly around your favorite outcrops and see unique angles that are impossible or difficult to get in real life. With the laser pointer tool, you can create lines and planes that then display the trend/plunge or strike/dip. Use the Unity menu to select Tools/Localize Photogrammetry Model from UTM. This function takes in a photogrammetry .obj file that is in UTM coordinates and converts it into smaller numbers so that Unity can work with it. ...

    Puzzler-VR

    Puzzler-VR

A VR puzzle game for Cardboard using Unity

...I have edited them to match my needs. Most of the models and textures are provided by Udacity starter files. I used some images for texturing the particles. The main target platform is android mobiles to use it with cardboard viewer. The main focus in this project is the design issues of the VR experience. So you might find a lot of stuff about testing and designing. But trust me it’s all about making the user have a great VR experience. Puzzler is a mobile VR application for new VR users which challenges them to solve a familiar type of puzzle in a new way.
