...Kata Containers is an open source community working to build a secure container runtime with lightweight virtual machines that feel and perform like containers, but provide stronger workload isolation using hardware virtualization technology as a second layer of defense. Though the code is deliberately kept clear and simple in order that readers are able to figure out how a real processor works through the medium of the code, it will soon be able to run a real Linux O/S kernel compiled for MIPS in Java - at what speed we don't know!
