This project also includes an IBM/360 simulator capable of running the output of both the Pascal compiler and the XPL compiler. The simulator is written in C and can run on most machines with a C compiler. -

dracxterm is a terminal for Android. Open it and a shell is waiting. If you want a full Linux, the app can install Debian 13 or Kali inside its own storage, and you work as you would on a computer. The phone does not need root, and there is no account to create. The terminal draws colours and keeps scrollback, so full-screen programs like nano and htop look right. UTF-8 text displays properly, CJK included. You get five workspaces, each with its own shell and history, plus an extra key row for Ctrl, Alt, Esc and the arrows. Type xset to open the settings. They live inside the terminal and change as you slide them. Inside the distro, sudo, su and apt work as usual, and dpkg installs .deb packages. Every download is checked before anything is unpacked. In 1.0.6, Kali opens all the way to a prompt, and package installs on Kali Full finish. No ads and no trackers. Nothing is sent to the developer, and it goes online only when you ask for a download. -

Emulator of the ancient 8 bit microprocessor ISP-8A 500D/600D or more common "SC/MP" from National Semiconductor. The download contains all sources plus an executable Java Jar file to start right away. Some SC/MP hex dump examples are provided in directory "/etc" as well. The download also contains unit tests and some helping documentation (also in /etc). You may slow down the CPU operations, displaying the CPUs status register as LEDs, to watch the CPU working with its registers. The emulator also contains a VDU (video display unit) output / ASCII input simulation.
