Slim Camera is a lightweight RTSP viewer for IP cameras. On first launch, it prompts for the stream URL (saved for future sessions) and runs in the system tray to avoid taskbar clutter. It remembers window position, size, and camera URL via an INI file for seamless reuse. The interface keeps distractions minimal - just the video stream in an auto-sizing window. This is a program to cast audio and video from your macOS, or Linux desktop to your Google Cast devices or Sonos speakers. It is written in Python, and it streams via node.js, ffmpeg, or avconv. Mkchromecast is capable of using lossy and lossless audio formats provided that ffmpeg, avconv (Linux), or parec (Linux) are installed. It also supports Multi-room group playback, and 24-bits/96kHz high audio resolution. Linux users also can configure ALSA to capture audio. -

This program converts a dvd into a dvd image. Could do the same for cdroms or other media like it. Will not copy protected disks. Features one click copying with a progress bar and dvd tray eject/load. Written in python with wxPython.
