It is possible to start an upnp server on your device in order to play media from your device on any upnp renderer in your network. If you start the yaacc upnp renderer service you are able to control your device by another upnp controller in the network. This is quiet useful for android hdmi-sticks plugged on your TV. DLect simply downloads lecture recordings from The University of Queensland's Blackboard site. DLect then organises the recordings into folders by subject. DLect also supports creating playlists and modifying the meta-data of the downloaded files. DLect is easy to install; just download the file and run with Java. It is lightweight; self-contained and can be synchronised using most online services such as Dropbox. -
