nxtvepg is a decoder and browser for Nextview EPG - a subscription-free electronic TV program guide in the analog domain. Up to ~2012, Nextview was broadcasted in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Turkey, Belgium and France and covered all major TV networks. Due to shut-down of analog transmission Nextview is defunct now. nxtvepg can still be used as browser for XMLTV files and EPG grabber from teletext.

The goal of this project is to develop a v4l driver for the Sony R-Engine MPEG2 encoder/decoder (aka Fujitsu's MB86393). The Sony R-Engine MPEG2 encoder/decoder is found in the more recent Sony Vaio Picturebooks (model PCG-C1M* and newer).

Dxr2 Resource Center is the community focus point for the Creative Dxr2 DVD decoder card. Drivers, plugins, documentation, etc are available that help users to get there dxr2 card to work. The project is currently in a state of inactivity.
